If Kes line can play the way it did late in the season against Kopi & Nate’s lines when they were dominating, Ducks win in 6 -
Must get good starts and not have their lapses that were all too frequent during the season.
Gibson is primed for a great run. And if the 3rd pair of Rookies .... Lord please no Juice.. can hold their own Ducks should be ok....

I'm stoked. This is going to be a underrated series that nobody going to watch. Well we will on the west coast. Anyways most experts are picking the sharks. Which I guess makes us the underdog. Which is fine. Low expectations and a weeks worth of rest should be all positives for us. And if the ducks have a x factor it would be the 3rd pairing defense. Petersson, welinski, bieska, holzer don't need be to great but if they turn into a liability then you know Randy will pile the minutes into lindholm and Manson. Best case for us is the bottom pairing dmen play within themselves and give us 10 or 12 minutes of uneventful hockey. And I'm sure randy will do and better job preparing the ducks than Steven's did with the kings. So cheers. Here's to another playoff run

You really have a hard on for Stevens don’t you! The Kings weren’t suppose to make the playoffs so we’ve already succeeded expectations. The Duck however have no excuses. It’s win the cup or failure!!

I like all of the talking heads giving San Jose the advantage because of their in-season record over the Ducks. All three of their wins came via the shoot-out or 3-on-3, which will come in handy for the Sharks in the playoffs.
That being said, these teams are so even I don't think either one has a distinct advantage. With Gibson in I would give the nod to the Ducks but with Fowler out the Ducks so-so power play is going to be even worse, advantage San Jose. I'm looking forward to a fun series!

This series is going to be a bloodbath. Time for everyone to take it up another level. I just hope Ritchie can keep is head on straight and not take stupid penalties.

Come on arh777, you're better than that. Nobody, and I mean nobody, picked the Ducks to win the Cup, nor even play for it. With the plethora of injuries we had to start the season, some wondered if we would even make them. I admit losing to San Jose would be a disappointment, but to suggest the season is a "failure" if we don't win it all is absurd at best.

Come on Quackup! Your better then that! How far removed are you from being in the conference finals? Last year? You guys are healthy now so it’s irrelevant about your injuries earlier this season!
You get to the conference final the obvious next step is getting to the finals and winning!

We're healthy? We've been without our top line winger (30 goal scorer last year) all season, or that doesn't count? And we're healthy without Fowler (powers the PP and leads the D ice time)? OK, whatever.

Man I wish. We got wrecked. Buy the third period things completely feel apart. Kane had a great game. Have to hand him that. And the sharks did a great job of pushing our buttons getting 6 power plays. Ugh.
Anyways time to salvage the homestand and get game 2. I mean on the bright side at least none of our players are suspended. Right kings fans.

Pathetic effort last night, 13 shots after two periods, Kesler's idiotic penalty taking, trying to make perfect passes to score goals. It's Martin freaking Jones, not Brodeur or Hasek! Jones was fumbling pucks that were shot from the blue line last night. SHOOT THE DAMN PUCK! The power play is going to be even more of a nightmare until Cam returns. I hope Tanner, who never could figure out why Lindholm wasn't on the first PP unit, watched him last night. He won't shoot the puck and can't decide where to pass the puck. Definitely not his strength.
Hopefully the team is as pissed as they sounded after the game last night and there is at least a better effort and a simpler strategy going into Saturday. If not, at least I'll get a refund for unused playoff tickets! I'm a glass half full guy.
